Acacia Hospice Volunteers
Acacia Hospice is a not-for-profit community based hospice. Acacia Hospice provides hospice care to the communities of Burlington, Camden and Mercer counties in New Jersey.
Hospice was once an all-volunteer service but has since evolved into a team of paid health care professionals and volunteers who provide companionship for patients, respite for caregivers, or help in the office.
No healthcare experience needed. We each have our own unique talents that can be shared with those we serve. You will be trained so you feel prepared and comfortable to serve. Your willingness to share yourself is the first step in becoming a hospice volunteer. If you have experienced a significant loss of a loved one, we ask that you wait for one year before volunteering so you can take time to heal.
